High speed train piercing the hearts of the people of Meloor Chalakudy Trissur

The Government of Kerala had entrusted DMRC to conduct a pre feasibility study on the possibility of running a High Speed Rail from Thiruvananthapuram to Mangalore. DMRC submitted the report and accepted it. An all party meeting endorsed the same. Without commiting any financial burden, the Cental Government also theoretically approved the project. Now without any intimation to the Local bodies or Revenue Authorities of the District or the Affected People DMRC has begun to demarcate the alignments at an interval of 100 metres. This has aroused protests among the people. The Survey routes in Koratty and Meloor Grama Panchayats, the nature of the rail and similar matters are dealt with in this video.
